This is the uniform you were wearing in your picture Gary. Dad was based in Wenover Field in utah near the great salt Lake.

Ed helping with Surgery on Iwo jima during the last of the war in the pacific in WW2. Ed was in the Army Air Force medical unit. He was the one at the top far left.
Ed was a medic in the Army Air Force and he landed on Iwo Jima after the Marines took the island.
I imagine this was taken up around Ashville N.Y. as that is were the Loomis's had Lakeside property. Elwin doesn't remember being in the water with his Grandmother.
